The weather thankfully cleared today. Rain threatened…but held off! But still surprisingly cool…so cycling with a second layer until well after midday!!
Another lovely ride…up into the hills…..
….and down the Valley of the Butterflies.
We did not see a butterfly.
But we did find a heap of tourists looking for something to do on a cool June day! Not sure if they saw any either!
Down to the coast….
…..and a nice jaunt along the wrong (sea) side of the airport….
…and back to our lovely accommodation.
With time enough for a good wander around the old town. A world heritage city and you can see why. An interesting place to explore…
…..but it does get a bit brash on the main street…with plenty of hustle. One day here is enough probably!!
Anna’s two favourite street names converge!! She can be such a nerd sometimes! (…she must get it from me!)
Come five o’clock….we found a bar with a big screen TV…..and watched the FA Cup final! (Martin’s Brighton had lost to Man United on penalties in the semi-final…so there was justice to be restored!)
Man City were worthy winners…..
Can they win in Istanbul next Saturday??
We were not quite sure if this cat was real!! It just did not move…for some minutes.
And then it did!
Hahahaha I’ve just seen these street names, brilliant
