What a lovely city!!
I was here back in….1975(!!)…between grape-picking jobs …Alsace harvest being a couple of weeks later than Champagne!
And I loved it then (I specifically recall eating tiny baguettes (ficelles)into which I inserted tiny chocolate bars…to create cheap Pain au Chocolates…to save money!).
It has got better I think! A truly bike-friendly city….with a wonderful tram system…
The Cathedral…& indeed the whole of the old town (squeezed onto an island)….was awarded UNESCO World Heritage status in 1988…(I could have told them ….!)
And do today…after blogging and washing….I revisited old haunts…so I will just show you some pics…the rivers…

Lovely day out! I took the tram home.
Funny..we went back to the same bar…& different people thought they were sitting next to Julian Dore!! Hilarious!!!
Another good evening!! (& yes…another Indian!!! Haha…too much admin to change a habit!)
Today…it has taken a full three hours to upload my photos today!!! FFS! Enjoy!! Viva La France!! The internet was ten times better in Albania!!!
PS… I use Booking.Com for almost all our accommodation..& sometimes AirBnb. And absolutely rely on others’ reviews. So I do review……..!
At our accommodation on Lake Constance…it was AirBnb. And not cheap!!
Our host has implored me to give a 5-star rating.
I didn’t…simply as it was not a truly ‘exceptional’ property. I gave it four stars…& that was a bit of a stretch!

I am very sorry about the spinters. I wasnt aware. I will look into that. I have sooo much headwind and it is so difficult yo run this airbnb. I put 100,000 euros into the house. Most not visible in electrica and plumbing and hearing. I will stop hosting ans put someone permanent.
I asked for 5 star to keep my super host status and you gave me 4. This is shocking aa doinf my best. Ans now the summer seapn is ruined.
Can you rethink it? Have the review deleted? It cannot be amended.
I dont want to impose here anything and tou could have given me 3 or 4 star rating but the overall counts. Am in tears as very very sad.
I wonder why humans dont suppoet eaxh other, especally when asked for it. The neighbours want me to stop renting out. I might do it as not appreciated and am just punished.
