A great start to the day! Hard as a rock! My tyre, I mean! Such a relief!
Today was hard….but beautiful. It must go down as one of the great European cycle rides. Along the mountainous coast of Southern Albania. (NB That lump to the left is the Greek island of Corfu…to clarify where we are!)
Up and down all day. Battery- and energy-drainingly steep too.
But simply glorious.
Not much to add really. Simply one of the best cycling days ever. And my pictures do not do it justice!

And so we pulled into Ksamil around 3pm. Probably the first Albanian ‘beach’ place we have found where one would be happy to spend a few days!
So….after two huge days…both of us developing colds…we decided to stay an extra day and allow the bodies to recover!!
Beer and gyros. Perfect!
