Flat tyre once again! Alas! Tubeless tyres are usually wonderful\u2026except when they are not!! Temperamental things!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We got away quite early (a relative term for here it does not get light until after 7.30\u2026being so far West but sticking to Central European time!)\u2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2026and started with a long walk over the motorway bridge (saving a 20km detour!). This crossed over the Ribadeo River from Galicia to Asturia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Today was mainly on the road\u2026.(as was the Camino!)\u2026very hilly, and winding\u2026.following the route of the motorway most of the way(which thankfully takes almost all the traffic!). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lots of Asturian storerooms (perched up on rodent-proof stone pillars), which seem much bigger than the Galician variant\u2026.this one attached to our coffee stop!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had infrequent views of the ocean and some lovely-looking beaches\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Huge bridges everywhere\u2026but this was certainly the most impressive! Italy has the name for the best road builders\u2026but to my mind Spain has the best roads! (..& certainly the most courteous drivers!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

And so to Cudillero. My second visit\u2026to possibly the prettiest village on the Atlantic coast\u2026with houses perched around the improbably steep natural amphitheatre. Very pretty!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And our terrace enjoyed the same sort if view! Not too shabby really! (\u2026well\u2026it was quite shabby really!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well-deserved beers after yet another double-tonner! And Shennae could not wait to get into he Goat\u2019s cheese!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A bit late for us to be out really\u2026but a day off tomorrow! I think we both need it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
